Roya Soleimani Winner

Roya Soleimani Winner is a wedding officiant, specializing in Persian and multi-cultural ceremonies. She is an ordained non-denominational Minister through American Marriage Ministries, and is authorized by the State of California to perform marriages.

She and her husband Andy were married in 2017, and in the spirit of bridging their Iranian and American traditions, Roya wrote and designed their wedding ceremony to reflect the mosaic of their backgrounds.

Roya is a public speaker and a romantic, and in 2019 she officiated an Iranian-American wedding for close friends, which inspired her to start Winner Weddings.

Roya has over a decade of experience working in technology and communications, with a focus on philanthropy and social impact.

She holds a Masters degree in Middle Eastern studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and her Bachelors in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Roya is involved with several community organizations, including iBridges, the Iranian American Women’s Foundation, and also sits on the Advisory Board of Moms Against Poverty, and the Board of the OMID Foundation.

She lives in the Bay Area with her husband Andy and sons Cyrus 4.5, and Rumi (2.5).
